Meet the Team
Aaron Jacoby is the managing partner of Arent Fox's Los Angeles office and chair of the firm’s automotive industry practice group. He focuses his practice on class actions and consumer litigation, unfair competition, federal and state regulatory matters, and government investigations affecting the automotive industry.
John Bronstein is a partner in the Automotive Industry Practice Group and has more than 25 years of legal experience. He advises automotive, commercial trucking and transportation clients in federal and state regulatory and compliance matters; defense against personal injury matters and consumer class action and individual consumer litigation; and in response to government inquiries and investigations. During the past 25 years, he has counseled automotive and trucking clients on such matters as regulatory compliance and litigation avoidance. John's extensive experience representing automotive dealership groups, trucking companies, and related entities enables him to provide strategic counsel, litigation representation, and pragmatic solutions on a wide variety of regulatory and operational issues.
Victor Danhi is a partner in the automotive group. He represents national and regional automotive dealership clients in consumer class actions and complex litigation, federal and state regulatory matters, unfair competition claims, commercial and consumer litigation, and franchise disputes. Victor has successfully defended clients at trial before juries, judges, and arbitrators. He has extensive experience in the effective resolution of high-stakes litigation, litigation avoidance and regulatory compliance.
David C. Meyer is a partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office, where he heads the office’s Corporate and Real Estate Transactional Practice. Mr. Meyer's nationally recognized transactional practice is adapted to the wide-ranging needs of his clients which include international corporations, auto industry companies, emerging growth companies, select startups and prominent individuals. Mr. Meyer provides effective counsel throughout the business life cycle from formation through operations, expansion, and eventual sale. His practice focuses on business transactions, real estate, financings, intellectual property, and mergers and acquisitions.
Richard Buckley’s practice focuses on business litigation, with particular emphasis on the automotive and sports industry. Prior to joining Arent Fox, Richard was a partner in the Los Angeles office of a national law firm where he served as “first chair” in dozens of litigation matters.
Marc Fleischaker is chairman emeritus of Arent Fox. He maintains an active legal practice in a number of areas, including trade association representation, environmental law, antitrust law, litigation, and civil rights law. Marc serves as counsel to national trade and professional associations and foundations in the fields of automotive parts, grain handling and export, higher education, credit counseling, and domestically produced athletic and waterproof plastic and rubber footwear.
Mike McMahan is an associate in Arent Fox's New York office.
